CyCom and Netmud worked with the client to understand the existing spreadsheet-based calculations being used, the various sales reports (goal & actual), and the reports required.

Once we understood the existing system, we replaced it with an Intranet enabling their internal staff to upload sales team rosters, goals, and actual sales data. Then we built SQL and VBScript code to generate reports from the uploaded data.

Sales team members can now log on to the secure site and see their own goals and results. An extensive permission system enables VPs to see from the big picture down to the smallest detail while limiting individual sales team members to data appropriate for them to see.

We replaced a complex internal system of spreadsheets and paper with Web-based tools. The internal team now spends less time generating reports, and the field sales team gets their data faster.

Since launch, the site has been so successful that we worked with them to add file upload/download capabilities to make sales training and other documents available.
